Jazz legend Sarah McLawler records THE AGE OF LOVE soundtrack

We’re thrilled to announce that the hit 1940s ballad, ‘Taking a Chance on Love’, will be performed for THE AGE OF LOVE soundtrack by legendary composer/jazz singer Sarah McLawler and her all-women’s ensemble, ‘Sarah McLawler and Les Femmes Jazz’.

Since she first took the stage 65 years ago in Atlantic City. Sarah has worked with Dinah Washington, Pearl Bailey, Nat King Cole, Dionne Warwick, Art Tatum, Quincy Jones, Abbey Lincoln, Wynton Marsalis and many, many others.

Enjoy this clip from our recording session last week at Dubway Studios, NYC. Sarah plays piano standing up and without her shoes, but, at 87, she sure knows how to swing. Featuring Melissa Slocum on bass and Bernice Brooks on drums.
